Project SNOW update: Better mapping for Lidar Teach & Repeat capability

In the context of the second milestone of the Snow project, we want to expand and improve our mapping system.

In our research, we focus on mappers optimized for large-scale environments. The next step is to be able to save and later reuse the 3D map while re-locating in it to match the new initial position of the robot. All these improved capabilities will allow us to pursuit longer distances travelled using the lidar-teach-and-repeat mode. We aim for several kilometers automatically navigated in deep snow through paths of the Montmorency research forest.
